majiCharm, my fanlisting collective is now up and running. So far I have two namelistings, and am in the process of adopting two fanlistings, so please check them out!
Since the aforementioned listings have to be finished in a timely manner, they have been taking up the majority of my shared computer time. More news later.

still a computer orphan, which is why it has taken me so long to process updates.
the new layout for Gundanium Exploits has been up and running for two months now... i just need to work some to finish a bit of the content.
still uploading fics to the reading room, uploaded 4 new ones yesterday ^_^~
the art section Tributaries is open for viewing and submissions.... now i just need to work on skins for that as well.
the rest is still on hold, though i seem to be keeping a better update list on my livejournal account. I may post some things that don't fit in Tributaries there as well ^_^~12^thOctober, 2006
i feel like such a computer orphan. my laptop decided to die on me, so it is taking forever to do the updates i so want and need to do.

almost finished with the final layout for my page dedicated to the movie The Labyrinth.... just trying to figure out how I want the scheme to be...
And still looking for players for My Gundam Wing Roleplay List all the major characters are still available.... except for Chang, but then who really expected him to be... it is my list after all. that's whats going on in my world... wish that this writer's block would leave for good, though it is doing one good thing for me, it is releasing my artistic side.

five years after the incident at the twin towers, the pentagon, and that field in Pennsylvania, and somehow it seems like it just happened yesterday, or maybe two months ago... the sting is not as bad as it was at first. My job has kept me quite busy, and my laptop died... really died.... so my updates have been very slow going. add to all that my annual Labor Day cold, that lasts from the tuesday before through Labor Day, and it is no wonder that I haven't been able to finish anything.
almost finished with the new design for Gundanium Exploits. got tired of the chibis already, but i have drawn this awesome picture of Wufei that i'll be using for the layout. the color scheme is a little dark, so that's really want's causing the problems. Ah, but then again that is my fault.
also, uploading fics to the reading room is taking a bit of time. still looking for authors, any genre, any fandom, please apply. I want to have a library that everyone will enjoy. i'm using the efiction script (v. 2.07 with tiny mce) and find that the second incarnation is a lot easier for me to modify, and the fact that you can edit the html of the story is making it nicer for my uploads, but also more complicated in that I feel I need to perfect it before it goes up.
ooh, i guess i got a little long winded there, sorry for the rambling update, enjoy the site and hope to see you in the the reading room

been working a lot on webdesign, working on a new layout, well that should be obvious if you are reading this now.
Started a new fanfic archive, using efiction 2.0, that you can find here. I'm calling it shenkai's reading room for now. we'll see what else I can come up with in future

ok, i have stumbled into a pit of writer's block, therefore no more progress on my stories for now. however, it seems that writer's block for me leads to website building and group starting. started a new Gundam Wing role play group, Arcanum Conlegium using yahoo groups. it's not fully active yet, but i'm working on it. as well as working on other projects, for another group i am a member of.
on a more serious note, i have found a useful site, especially for those of us webmasters who may have gotten an increased amount of spam since putting our address on our sites. it's really interesting, a site that turns your email address into ascii code, so that spambots don't notice the email address, but it doesn't affect an actual visitor's ability to email you. you can look into it at Mt Holyoke's site under Obfuscating Email Addresses.

it seems like patience is a virtue i no longer have, or perhaps care to have. i have moved some more files, updating them and removing pop ups from when they were at 9cy, but I was finally able to close down that account, good riddance. the whole reason i had signed up with them in the first place is because they had assured me there would be no pop ups, banners, or pop unders. now if you go to one of their sites, they are covered in them.
in lighter news, the FAKE mailing list I belong to are doing a petition. it would be really cool if it happened too. as a yaoi fan, i was first introduced to Sanami Matoh's FAKE through the OAV, and having read the mangas that Tokyo Pop was kind enough to release in english, i couldn't help but wish that the whole series had been an anime too! today i finally moved some more of my files from my old site here, it's a slow process, even slower now that i've moved back home. finally got a good job, one of those ones where i'm guaranteed the weekend and most holidays off, and i'm the manager too, very cool. my muse is working slowly now, doesn't like the Texas heat i think, but he let me slow down a bit and finally do what i've been meaning to do for a long time, put up a little memorial to 9/11.

well today is the beginning of a whole new adventure. i apologize now if the updates are taking forever, and now that i'm in the process of moving, it may be even longer still. i am still writing, drawing, etc... and i would love it if i could update everyday. unfortunately, there are only 24 hours to a day, and with 9 hours devoted to work, 2-3 to eating, and at least 4 to sleep, it doesn't leave much time for my webpage and my muse. lately he's been occupying most of my time, so when the updates do come, i'm sure you all will agree it was well worth the wait.

well, it's my new website, my new outlook on life, and i'm still unsure of anything. this is the part where i have an open form for me to explore my obsessions and my phyche, time to reflect and grow. a wise person once said that when we stop learning nad gorwing to be better persons, we wither and die, and i hope to use this as a place to keep learning and growing, though who knows what will happen in the future? I believe the time has come for me to return to the basics, my beginning to this consciousness, thus i am returning to the chibifaerie in me. she, along with the solitary dragon and myself will try to incorporate our beliefs and lifestyles that surprise even our own selves, and fit it to the bold American way of life.
